UseShots Editor 0.4 sneak peek
April 3rd, 2008 Posted in Updates, UseShots Editor На русскомVersion 0.4 is almost ready. I just want to test it with WordPress 2.5 and rewrite the Getting Started with UseShots Editor tutorial before the official release.
New features in version 0.4 (most of them have to do with screen shots and images)
- Timer - useful to capture expanded menus.
- Paste images - you can paste images from clipboard right into UseShots Editor (they will be automatically resized to fit you blog’s column width).
- Load images - you can load images from files (right-click in the image area).
- Improved quality of GIF screen shots.
- User Agent - you can identify UseShots Editor in you web server logs by the “UseShots Editor <version>” user agent string. Previous versions used a generic user agent string.
If version 0.4 is not released by the time you read this message, you can download a development version (Check the development version link at the bottom of the Download page.)
Version 0.4 is compatible with previous versions 0.2.x.x and you can install it on top of the existing copy.
Any comments and suggestions are welcome.
